Military to get technical help from Russia
The Republic of Fiji’s Military Forces plans to get technical help and equipment from Russia.

The government has announced it will enter into an agreement with Russia’s Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation.

Minister for Defense and National Security Joketani Cokanasiga said the deal will help Fiji’s military forces improve their capacity and capability.

Cokanasiga said the cooperation will assist Fiji’s military in acquiring appropriate technology and equipment for its peacekeeping troops.
