3 bedroom Nadi house destroyed by fire

A 3 bedroom house was destroyed by a fire at 1.50 this morning in Votualevu, Nadi.

The cost of damage is $190,000 and the cause of fire is not known.

Investigations continue.

Meanwhile, so far for this year, the National Fire Authority has attended to 17 property and small house fires.

CEO John O’Connor said these 17 fires were mostly caused by unattended cooking, lit candles, mosquito coils, electrical causes and arson related causes.
