The movie shot on location here in Fiji Bula Quo, which features famous British rockers Status Quo, will make its world premier at Village 6 cinemas this evening.
According to Director Stuart St Paul after facing so many hurdles while shooting, he is proud to finally be making the movie’s world premier in Fiji.
For St Paul Fiji was the perfect location for him to shoot in, yet the movie however took an unexpected turn when Cyclone Daphne hit.
According to St Paul a lot of the scenes had to be rewritten with the one shot at the famous Biausevu waterfalls in Sigatoka being digitally edited, to make the water look much clearer as it was actually muddy on the day of the shoot.
St Paul also confirms that as Fiji is truly one of his best film making experiences ever, he is ready to shoot a second comedy here.
Meanwhile, tomorrow the village of Nawaka will have an outdoor screening of Bula Quo as many of the local crew and cast are from the village.
