Investigations still underway over alleged murder

Police investigation is still underway in relation to the alleged murder of a man in Korolevu on Saturday night.

Police say the man was found unconscious by the duty manager of a hotel following which he was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to eye witnesses, the two men were drinking when an argument broke out between the two, where the 20-year-old plumber allegedly punched the victim.

The suspect surrendered himself to police.
