CID continues investigation into 5 dental clinics
The Criminal Investigation Department is continuing its investigation in relation to a complaint lodged by the Fiji Dental Council on 5 dental clinics which have been operating after their annual practicing certificate was revoked last Monday.

Chief Operations Officer ACP Rusiate Tudravu confirms they received the compliant from the council last Friday.

Meanwhile, Fiji Dental Council Chief Executive Officer and Registrar Dharmesh Prasad said the dentist’s indemnity insurance had expired at the end of last month and the Fiji Dental Council gave her an extension for a month to secure an acceptable insurance policy.

Prasad said the dentist was given time until last Monday but when they met with her, they found that she had not obtained the indemnity insurance.
