Men’s hockey team confident of adapting to weather in India
The Fiji Men's hockey team did not train at midnight for the past weeks like the women's team because they believe they can adapt to the weather in India in three days before the World Hockey League Round 2 qualifier kicks off.

Coach Hector Smith says he cannot afford to have the players training at night because most of them have to go to work the next day.

Meanwhile, experienced player Adrian Smith said that the team has done the hard yards in training and they will head to India with a mission.

Adrian added that it will be a baptism of fire as they take on India who is currently ranked 11th in the world and they have already won a World Championship.

The Fiji Men's and Women's Hockey side will depart for India midnight tonight and both will play their first game next Monday against India and Japan respectively.
