Casino development to begin in May

Casino development to begin in May
There are certain consequences if the casino development on Denarau does not meet the construction requirements within the extended time period.

This is according to Acting Prime Minister and Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum who said the casino development is expected to begin in May.

Fijivillage has asked Sayed-Khaiyum the reason for the delay as we have received confirmation there is no construction work at the site.

The developers One Hundred Sands Limited Chairperson Larry Claunch had said in our last interview that construction works were going to start from December last year.

He had said that the $290 million funding was fully secured.

We are trying to get comments from Claunch.
