Waqavonovono refuses to comment on support of SDL policies
Youth Activist and former Hibiscus King, Pita Waqavonovono has now refused to comment on whether he supports the SDL party’s policies who are now proposing to change their name to the Social Democratic Liberal Party.

Fijivillage asked Waqavonovono what he thinks of the party wanting Fiji to be declared a Christian State, Christianity to be the state religion, Fijian to be the national language of the state, “Fijian” to be reserved for the indigenous Fijians and all citizens to be called “Fiji Islanders”, sexual orientation to be removed from the Bill of Rights and that there should be no provisions for dual citizenship.

He said he has been advised not to say anything on this.
