Police Await Post Mortem Report

Police are currently waiting for the post mortem report of a
39 year old woman who was allegedly murdered by her 28 year old husband at their Ragg Avenue, Namadi Heights home early yesterday morning.

Police Media Liaison Officer, Atunaisa Sokomuri said the post mortem has been conducted and once they get the report, the husband will be charged to appear in court who is currently at the Samabula Police Station.

He said police are questioning the husband in relation to some finer details.

Police say there were stab wounds on the victim and a knife has been recovered from the crime scene.

It has been confirmed that the deceased was a business woman from the United Kingdom and moved into the house a few weeks ago with her husband and three children. They confirm that the victim's three month old baby, 4 year old and 16 year old sons are now with their relatives.
