Two senior police officers have been taken into custody over the weekend on allegations of insubordination and are awaiting charges while two other senior officers who were suspended last month have now been terminated and are also expected to be charged soon.
Police spokesperson Ema Mua confirmed to Fijivillage that the two officers now in custody are linked with the same offence alleged to have been committed by the two other senior officers who have been terminated.
However, Mua said they cannot reveal the details of the allegations against these four officers.
