Fiji seeded as one of the top teams for RWC 7’s
The Digicel Fiji Sevens team will be in band one for the Rugby World Cup Sevens pool allocation draw on the 28th of this month.

Fiji will be joined by South Africa, England, Samoa, Australia and top seed New Zealand.

The All Blacks Sevens team has been seeded number one by the IRB despite being beaten 40-21 by South Africa in the Cup final of the USA Sevens yesterday.

New Zealand has been consistent over the past two full series and they have built an unassailable points lead ahead of the RWC Sevens pool allocation draw in Moscow.

Band two for the draw will be led by defending champion Wales, Argentina, France, Kenya, Scotland and USA while the third tier will include Canada, Portugal, Spain, Russia, Tonga and Zimbabwe.

Band four consists of Japan, Hong Kong, Georgia, Tunisia, Philippines and the final qualifier from the South American region.

The Rugby World Cup Sevens will be held in Russia from the 28th to the 30th of this June.
