A quick alert to police managed to disrupt an early morning robbery of a Brij Lal shop in Cumming Street, Suva.
Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said that they received a call saying that someone was on the roof of the shop.
Sokomuri said when police arrived at the scene the suspect fled the scene leaving behind the items which he had stolen.
Investigations continue.
