Murphy to decide on Waqa/Tanivula as coaches

Air Pacific Fiji Warriors coach Iliesa Tanivula and Air Pacific Fiji Barbarians coach Etuate Waqa may again lead the two sides in the 2009 IRB Pacific Rugby Cup competition.

Both teams have failed to make the Pacific Rugby Cup final for the third consecutive year after they lost their 4th round matches to Tonga opponents Tautahi Gold and Tau'uta Reds.

FRU's High Performance Unit manager, Peter Murphy will have the final say as who will coach the two sides next year, as he mentioned earlier this month that there could be changes in the side after they lack-luster performance this season.

Muprhy who is in Sydney at the moment will return tonight and make a final decision on the management of the two teams next week.

Air Pacific Fiji Warriors and Air Pacific Fiji Barbarians will play this weekend in a formality match while Upolu Samoa, Savaii Samoa and Tautahi Gold will fight for the top two spots in the final round of games next week.
