Singh Misses Cut

Golfer Vijay Singh has for the first time this season missed a cut in one of the major championship.

Singh playing in the Players Championship, carded 73 in the first round and then 75 in the second round, that saw him miss the cut.

He will watch the third and final round of play from the side line. Singh currently lies in 9th place on the World Golf Rankings and may slip further down after missing the cut.
