PM concerned old politicians may change all the reforms
Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama is concerned that some proposed political parties with the people from the old parties may come and change all the reforms that have been implemented since 2006.

Commodore Bainimarama said he is already predicting that this is likely to happen if the old politicians return and he wants to ensure that all the necessary reforms are completed before the elections.

He said there’s a lot to be done before the general elections is held in 2014.

When asked if there will be delays in relation to the elections due to the implementation of the reforms, Commodore Bainimarama stresses that he has never said that the 2014 elections will be delayed.
