Firefighters arrived at the boulevard after smoke was seen coming out this morning.
National Fire Authority CEO John O'Connor said his officers are working with FEA workers to repair some melted electrical wires in all levels of the building which is expected to be completed later this afternoon.
O'Connor said his NFA firefighters found that the fire had started in the exhaust system of the Restaurant area but managed to put it out before it could spread to other parts of the building.
Some staff members were inside the building but escaped without any injuries.
