A 36 year-old man is in police custody after 37 sachets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana were discovered on him in Tovata yesterday.
Police were alerted that the suspect was dealing drugs at his home in Tovata and they conducted the raid.
The officers were also accompanied by police dogs from the Canine Unit and after searching the suspect’s house they managed to find 37 sachets which were hidden inside the suspect’s under-garments.
Fifteen sachets were also found by the police hidden beside a television set.
