The Public Service Commission is now awaiting feedback from the Prime Minister’s Office on the recommendations going forward in relation to the larger ministries in the government and determining the right size of the ministries.
Permanent Secretary Parmesh Chand said the Functional Review Exercise has been completed for the Ministries of Education, Health, Works, Transport and Public Utilities and Primary Industries and their main aim was to determine the optimum size of the ministries.
