The issue of getting duty free concession on diesel from the government which sees bus operators pay 18 cents a litre, has nothing to do with our demands of a bus fare increase.
This is what the Fiji Bus Operators Association Pyara Singh said in relation to the Interim Finance Minister's comment that bus companies were already benefitting from the zero duty on the fuel prices and should not be asking government for further increases in bus fares.
