Fiji rugby’s National Coaching Director Frank Boivert said he has already spoken to top players like Joeli Lutumailagi, Timoci Matanavou, Waisea Nayacalevu and Metuisela Talebula as only four months remain for the Rugby World Cup Sevens in Moscow.
In an interview with Fijivillage, Boivert said Talebula will be the x-factor for the team and speedster Matanavou is also needed.
He said he is also monitoring other players.
Boivert said Talebula could not go to the NZ and USA Sevens due to club commitments.
Boivert said they will continue to monitor the performance of the current players and see where the overseas players are needed.
He said it all depends on the performance of the current players in the squad.
As for the overseas players, Boivert said he knows many of them as he has coached them.
