A reconciliation between two former Methodist Church leaders will soon be witnessed by the nation later this year.
General Secretary of the Church Reverend Tevita Nawadra confirmed that 23 years ago, the former President Reverend Josateki Koroi was forcibly ousted from his office by a group from within the church led by the former Secretary of the Welfare Department Reverend Manasa Lasaro.
This has prompted the current church leaders to have a special service based on love and also cancel differences that happened in the past.
Nawadra said this special event is being discussed by a standing committee who will put together a program for the important occasion.
The two leaders are expected to comment later today.
