Kenya overwhelmed by recent success

Kenya overwhelmed by recent success
After their great outing at the New Zealand sevens last week the Kenya rugby sevens team is still coming to terms with their success this season.

Coach Mike Friday said they did not expect to be second on the points table because their aim was to be in the top eight after the first half of the series.

Friday added he is just happy that his players now understand how to trust themselves and each other.

Meanwhile, there are revelations that Fiji rugby’s National Coaching Director Frank Boivert has now conducted the video analysis of all of the Digicel Fiji Sevens team’s pool opponents and sent the game plans from here to the team in Las Vegas.

Fiji will meet England at 12pm Saturday in the USA Sevens.

Fiji will then face Scotland at 3.19pm Saturday and Portugal at 8am Sunday.
