A 40-year-old father charged with the rape of his 14-year-old daughter in Tavua in 2006 has been convicted by the Lautoka Magistrates court.
The case was previously heard in the Tavua Magistrates court and was called in the Lautoka Magistrates court for mitigation and sentencing.
The case has now been transferred to the Lautoka High Court for sentencing on 4th of next month.
