Ratu Sailosi Dawai confirmed as Tui Nadi

Ratu Sailosi Dawai has been confirmed as the Tui Nadi after the judgment was delivered by the Chairman of the i-Taukei Land Appeal Tribunal and former Magistrate Aminiasi Katonivualiku this morning.

Before the decision was made this morning, there were a dispute on the rightful holder of the Tui Nadi title between Ratu Kaliova Dawai and Ratu Sailosi Dawai.

However, Ratu Sailosi was named the Tui Nadi after a decision made by the Native Lands Commission on the 9th December, 2011, that he was the rightful holder.

A three member team of the Tribunal led by Katonivualiku was at the chiefly village of Navatulevu in Nadi to deliver the judgment.
