The Fiji Rugby Union together with their High Performance Unit is not wasting any time in trying to get the best team together for the start of the Pacific Nations Cup in two months time.
High Performance Unit Manager Peter Murphy is in Sydney for a four-day conference with High Performance Managers from Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific - mainly in trying to look at other sports and how they try to organize their high performance initiatives.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Murphy said Flying Fijians coach Ilivasi Tabua will join him in Sydney to scout some overseas based players for the Pacific Nations competition.
The Pacific Nations Cup kicks off on 7 June when Fiji hosts Samoa in Lautoka while New Zealand Maori will take on Tonga at North Harbour Stadium and Japan will host Australia A at Hakata No Mori Stadium in Fuku-oka.
