Tropical disturbance expected to move southeast
A Tropical Disturbance was located to the Northeast of Viti Levu this afternoon and is gradually moving southeast. 

The Nadi Weather office said it is not expected to develop into a tropical cyclone over the Fiji waters. 

Associated active trough of low pressure with cloud and rain is expected to affect the group till tomorrow. 

A heavy rain warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji group while a strong wind warning remains in force for Vanua Levu, Taveuni and Nearby Smaller Island and Northern Lau group but is now cancelled for Viti Levu, kadavu, Yasawa, Mamanuca group and Southern Lau group.

Localised heavy rain may lead to flash flooding.
