Lautoka striker Vakatalesau reported to be in PNG
Lautoka soccer teams top striker, Osea Vakatalesau is reported to have flown to Papua New Guinea on Saturday without the knowledge of team officials.

President, Shalendra Prasad said he was advised about Vakatalesau's departure by his brother Leone Vurukania yesterday afternoon in the blues change room.

Prasad said he has been told that Vakatalesau wants to play for Hekari United.

However, according to Prasad, Vakatalesau=s suspension has only been temporarily lifted and the Disciplinary committee will decide this Saturday if the top striker can play football at all levels or still face suspension.

Osea had trained with Lautoka last week and was to start against Suva yesterday in the National soccer league match.

Lautoka won the match 1-0 through a penalty by Alvin Avinesh.

Meanwhile in other National soccer league games yesterday, Ba beat Tavua 2-0, Nasinu upset Labasa 3-0 and Navua beat Nadi 1-0.
