The Public Service Commission Chairman said they are expected to lay charges on the nurse who allegedly injected a baby in Labasa late last year while being breastfed, leading to his death.
Rishi Ram told Fijivillage that an investigation was conducted by the Health Ministry and the commission has received the copy of the report.
Ram adds that the report reveals that there was some negligence on the part of the nurse.
The four day old baby died after he was allegedly given three injections, two in the thigh and one in the hand while he was being breastfed by his mum.
The post mortem exam showed the baby died after choking on his milk.
