Womens volleyball side not given any chance
The Fiji Women's Volleyball side has not been given any chance to qualify for next year's World Championships by the Chinese Media.

They will be up against the 5th ranked China team, which is apparently the strongest side in the competition and will also play against Thailand and Uzbekistan.

Fiji has been beaten by Thailand earlier this year in one of the qualifying playoffs.

The Chinese media have rated China and Thailand the top favourites to advance from Pool D.

Fiji Women's Volleyball Coach, Varanisese Maraiwai said they have nothing to lose after making it to this stage for the first time ever and have told the girls to give it their best shot.

Fiji plays China in their opening match tonight in Chengdu, China.
