Savusavu to battle with big guns now

The Savusavu soccer team will play against top teams like Ba, Lautoka, Rewa and Navua next year in the National Soccer League competition and major soccer tournaments.

This after the Northerners won the Promotion Relegation Series against Nasinu and made their way to the Super Premier Division.

It was history in making at the TFL Stadium yesterday, where Savusavu just had to draw the match and the team achieved their goal despite Nasinu=s desperate efforts.

Savusavu won the first leg at Subrail Park last week beating Nasinu 1-0.

As for Nasinu, the team which has been facing numerous challenges in the recent past now will play in the Premier Division next year.
